Footer meters. Each meter shows when its window resets ("↻ 14:30" for 5h, "↻ Thu" for the week). If the pace so far (a straight line from the window's start) would use the window up before it resets, the meter shows "⚠ full ~13:50" in amber instead. The tooltip spells this out.
Matrix ping. The status line starts devdesk-notify-matrix --usage when the 5-hour window passes DEVDESK_USAGE_WARN (default 90%). It posts once per window, and only when no client is attached to any session. A browser tab shows its own toast.

v0.10.1 change: "away" for the usage ping now means no DevDesk tab has been in view for about 2 minutes (presence markers), the same rule #50 uses. It used to mean no attached client, so a forgotten background tab silenced the ping. v0.10.0 never published because this test failed in CI.
