In the desktop app (Linux nightly 4.12.377), Settings → General → Appearance contains Custom Window Chrome (Beta), Launch on login, When I close the window and Login in the system keychain. They sit between "Monochrome Mode" and "Twitter Emoji" (screenshot). Only window chrome is about appearance.

Fix: a dedicated Desktop section (startup, close behaviour, keychain, window chrome, global hotkeys, updates), shown only in the desktop app.

Found in the October 2026 client audit (Playwright against a local Synapse + LiveKit stack, plus code reading). Code refs are at cinny 30e2dbcd, cinny-desktop 8f67ec7, element-call 3b0050e8.
