On stock GNOME there is no StatusNotifier host, so choosing "Keep running in the tray" hid the window with no icon to bring it back. Expose whether org.kde.StatusNotifierWatcher has an owner on the session bus (always true off Linux); cinny's dialog then defaults to Quit and words the other option as "running in the background". Local development
Firstly, to setup Rust, NodeJS and build tools follow Tauri documentation.
Now, to setup development locally run the following commands:
git clone --recursive https://github.com/cinnyapp/cinny-desktop.gitcd cinny-desktop/cinnynpm cicd ..npm ci
To build the app locally, run:
npm run tauri build
To start local dev server, run:
npm run tauri dev
