Migrated from LOTUS_TODO.md on 2026-09-17 (the file is now reference-only).

Debounce the desktop trigger — trigger-desktop fires a full desktop build on every lotus commit; consider tag/workflow_dispatch/schedule-gating to decouple desktop cadence from web commits (biggest remaining runner-load source).

Done: cinny c7aa4b9b + cinny-desktop aa2abec/75c3d49.

  • cinny trigger-desktop now asks the API for cinny-desktop's last main commit and skips the submodule bump when it is under 60 minutes old (DEBOUNCE_MIN env in the job) — so a burst of web commits yields one desktop build, not one per commit.
  • cinny-desktop gains catch-up.yml: nightly 04:00 UTC (and workflow_dispatch) it moves the submodule to cinny lotus HEAD, pushing only if it changed — commits that landed inside a debounce window reach a desktop build by the next morning.
  • release.yml ignores pushes that only touch *.md or the catch-up workflow.

Net effect: desktop cadence ≈ hourly-at-most + nightly catch-up, decoupled from web commits; the ~30-min Tauri build stops queueing behind every web push. #8 (dedicated runner) is still the real fix for the remaining sharing.
