Make the front panel on the device page match the real hardware. This covers one model so it can be checked port by port against the physical unit.

Device: Dream Machine Pro (UniFi model code UDMPRO, 11 ports reported by UniFi)

Current state

SWITCH_LAYOUTS in static/port-inspector.js:

'UDMPRO': { rows: [[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]], sfp_section: [10,11] }

This draws one flat row of 9 RJ45 ports and a separate SFP section. It doesn't distinguish WAN from LAN ports.

Known facts

  • Port 9 is WAN1 and connects to the AT&T modem at 1G.
  • Ports 10 and 11 are the SFP+ cages.

Verify against the unit or datasheet

From memory and not yet confirmed:

  • Ports 1-8 are the LAN RJ45 ports, physically grouped apart from WAN port 9.
  • Which of ports 10 and 11 is WAN and which is LAN.
  • Whether the display and drive bay should be drawn, or only the ports.

Acceptance criteria

  • Port order, grouping and connector types match a reference photo of the unit
  • WAN and LAN ports are visually distinct, and the port's role shows in its hover text
  • Each port shows state, speed and neighbor without overlapping text
  • Clicking a port or using the keyboard opens the existing port panel, and #port-N links still work
  • No sideways page scroll at phone width
  • Reference photo or datasheet link is recorded on this issue
