Stray tmux splits: no right-click menus, and a way to close them #52

A session ended up with Claude and an empty shell side by side, with no mouse way to remove the shell. The likely cause is tmux's default right-click menu: right-clicking a pane offers Horizontal/Vertical Split (and Kill), so one stray click splits the window.

Fix:

  • tmux.conf unbinds the right-click menus (MouseDown3Pane, M-MouseDown3Pane, MouseDown3Status, MouseDown3StatusLeft). Splits and kills stay on the keyboard.
  • devdesk attach --unsplit NAME closes every extra pane, keeping Claude's pane in the claude window and the first pane elsewhere. The command palette has "Close split panes (keeps Claude)".

The live case in hytale was fixed by hand: the empty pane was closed and the menus unbound on the running server.
