Old links (inbox, Matrix) recreate sessions that were ended #38

Found 2026-10-10: a test session ended on Oct 8 at 01:56 was running again from 11:18 (its conversation resumed through Remote Control), with nobody having asked for it.

?arg=<name> means "open or create", which is right for typing a name, but wrong for links that point at a session that may have ended since: the 🔔 inbox's entries and the Matrix "Claude needs you" link. Clicking one of those after the session was ended silently starts a new Claude there.

Fix:

  • Links that mean "go to that session" (Matrix, inbox) open it existing-only (&existing=1 → attach --existing).
  • If it's gone: an overlay says so, with "Open picker" and an explicit "Start it again".
  • The inbox marks entries for sessions that no longer exist as ended (no click-to-recreate) and drops entries older than 7 days.
