Source: user feedback, 2026-10-08 ("I do not even see a toggle for light mode which all the other apps that use web-template support").

Every web_template app (Tinker Tickets, GANDALF, Pulse…) has the ☀/◐ .lt-theme-btn in the header; DevDesk has none because it vendors only base.css.

.lt-theme-btn in the header, same behaviour as lt.theme: localStorage.lt_theme, OS preference when unset, data-theme + color-scheme on <html>, theme-color meta, cross-tab sync via the storage event. Applied before first paint (no dark flash).
Light xterm palette. Claude's theme is per process and already-printed text keeps its colours, so DevDesk sessions run Claude with theme: dark-ansi (colours come from the palette) and the light palette inverts the grey ramp (bright white = ink, white = muted). Toggling is instant, scrollback included.
tmux status/borders/copy-mode in ANSI colour names instead of hex, so they follow the theme.
Light overrides for DevDesk's own styles (scanline texture, overlays, menus, drop zone, key bar).
