Everything about calls that can be checked from state (SFU tracks, widget events, DOM, timing) is now covered by the headless sweep (#173, #174 closed with evidence). What remains genuinely needs ears and a real mic — please tick each item, and on a FAIL say what you heard vs expected, browser/OS, and the tier/model.

Noise suppression (Settings → Calls → Noise Suppression)

Browser-native: keyboard typing / fan noise reduced, voice intact
ML (Advanced) with each model, best-first: DeepFilterNet 3, DTLN, RNNoise, Speex — voice natural, no robotic/pumping artefacts, no dead mic after a reconnect (leave Wi-Fi off 5 s mid-call)
ML + "series suppression" opt-in doesn't make the voice thin
Noise gate at the default threshold: quiet speech not cut off; gate closes between sentences

Soundboard (2 people)

a clip is heard by the other side at a sane level relative to voices; per-clip volume and the master slider change it
the local preview plays for the sender; sender isn't doubled
"Unmute your microphone to play a soundboard clip." appears when muted (state-verified; confirm nothing is heard)

Cues

join/leave chimes audible with each style (chime/soft/retro), and not repeated when someone's connection flaps (#145 debounce)
each ringtone previews from Settings and rings for an incoming DM call; stops on Answer/Reject/other-device answer
AFK auto-mute toast is accompanied by no audio glitch

Screenshare audio (2 people, share a tab with sound)

"Mute Screenshare Audio" silences only the share, voices continue; sharer stopping and re-sharing stays muted (fixed in fork 0.25.0-lotus.4 — confirm by ear)
the sharer does not hear their own share echoed back

Quality controls

audio at 32 kbps room cap is intelligible; screenshare at 1000 kbps / 15 fps readable
